The link between history, the new park and the city.

This city has expanded through parks and gardens in the tradition of malmaison and its complicity with nature. Our project "dare joséphine" thus proposes to be the link between history, the new park and the city. The great marengo cedar is the witness of history. It inspired our "biomimetic" project that we wanted to create from this nature: the cedar inspired our urban project which with its "inhabited hills" is born from nature.

The climbing pavilion symbolically places the cedar at the heart of the project.

The housing units "grow" there in a spiral way like the cedar needles grow to seek the light they need. As an allegory to the cedar, the climbing pavilion symbolically places the cedar at the heart of the project, for young and old to climb. Finally, the landscape project plants more than 100 pines and cedars.

A highly innovative bioclimatic architecture that provides a remarkable quality of life.

Today, rueil is bringing forth, at the arsenal, a 21st century village in a remarkable natural environment. It is, at the same time: a "world-city and a "human-city". Our project aims to perpetuate the balance that has made rueil's quality of life. It is therefore from the surrounding nature that our project is conceived. It gives birth to these "inhabited hills" that shape the new landscape in the image of mont valérien. Activities are installed there and housing units are made to "germinate", which like plants that "grow" by playing with natural elements...for the well-being of each person. A highly innovative bioclimatic architecture that provides a remarkable quality of life for the families who will live there.

A landscaped and versatile project.

We irrigate the site with a mosaic of ecosystems, the main habitat being the pine forest. This links the biomimetic architecture, inspired notably by the malmaison cedar, with sporting uses such as climbing. At the heart of the system, a landscaped storm basin collects rainwater from the neighborhood and infiltrates it into the soil. It refreshes the neighborhood and provides a soothing space rich in biodiversity.

The neighborhood square marks the living heart of the zac, it constitutes the link between the green corridor and the built environment. In this sense, we propose a hybrid space half-mineral, half-vegetable that seeks to create a centrality both urban and natural. The layout follows a gradient that goes from mineral, towards the nato hall, to vegetable, towards the green corridor. The garden-square resolutely extends onto the roof of the block and plays with the slopes that unfold there to create a unique and original space. A vast active garden takes place there, mixing recreational functions (children's games, belvedere...), sports (health trail, climbing...), event-related (tiered seating for shows...) and natural (pine groves, wetland...).
