A contemporary building aiming to "mirror" the neighboring architectures.
The private mansion of jules-émile boivin was built in the 19th century, its two wings were raised and two buildings, designed by pierre dufau, were added to it in the 1960s. The béchu agency replaced the last two constructions with a contemporary building aiming to "mirror" the neighboring architectures (haussmannian and art deco).
Stone piers, metal structures and joinery, parapets and bow-windows generate a subtle molding all in hollows and bosses.
The design of the new facades declines the golden ratio in musical rhythms in counterpoint to those of the hotel, like the patio coming to dialogue with the old paved courtyard. Stone piers, metal structures and joinery, parapets and bow-windows generate a subtle molding all in hollows and bosses. The grating floor of the glass boxes promotes the cooling of the plateaus just by leaving their interior bays open.
