The project proposes to build an "inhabited park" reconciling the creation of a park and urbanization.
The project proposes to build an "inhabited park" reconciling the creation of a park, in the extension of the urban natural park of the Bruche and the twisted Rhine, and urbanization. The implementation concept is based on north-south permeability. This allows to maintain visual relationships towards the city center on one hand and to let the sun penetrate the park on the other hand, a principle called "solar channels". These channels allow sunlight and light to flood the common green spaces between the buildings. The east and west facades thus benefit from the contribution of plant masses.
