Mercuriales: an architectural and urban metamorphosis

Alongside the City of Bagnolet, Bain Capital, and Hemisphere, we presented to the public the transformation project for the Mercuriales towers, iconic landmarks of eastern Paris.

Conceived as an urban regeneration initiative, the project aims to:
🏙️ Redevelop two 31-storey towers and their base to reconnect them to the city
🌱 Transform a heat island into a cool island with over 2,800 m² of green spaces and new gardens
🤝 Open the base to the city with shops, services, living spaces, and a rooftop restaurant
🎓 Create nearly 1,700 housing units in student and managed residences, tailored to new uses

👉 This project is based on a demanding environmental approach (air quality, soil, acoustics, energy, biodiversity) and a program designed for residents, users, and the city.
The Mercuriales are reinventing themselves to become a new metropolitan landmark—open, vibrant, and sustainable.
